Bio

Ahmed Ghailani was born in 1974 in Tanzania. He was captured in joint operations with Pakistan in 2004. He is detained at Guantanamo Bay. He bought parts for the US embassy bombing in Tanzania, then fled to Afghanistan, where he cooked as well as forged documents for bin Laden prior to the US invasion. When captured, he was planning a spree of terror attacks for launch in the summer of 2004.
