Bio

The FBI arrested Najibullah Zazi on September 19, 2009 for lying to investigators on matters involving terrorism. In the week before, he had made a suspicious trip from Denver to New York in a rental car. Searchers found bomb making plans in his handwriting on his laptop computer. During interrogation, he admitted that he had received military training from Al Qaeda in Pakistan’s semi-autonomous tribal area. Najibullah was born in Afghanistan around 1985. He is a naturalized US citizen. He has been working in Denver as an airport shuttle driver.
